College of Pharmacy

The Mission of the College of Pharmacy Alumni Association is to promote fellowship and service among our members. 

Our goals are:
  • To promote the interests and standing of the College of Pharmacy for the mutual benefit of alumni, faculty, and students.
  • To promote the art and science of pharmacy by stimulating communication and partnerships among its members.
  • To encourage gifts of time, talent and financial resources to benefit the growth and development of the college. All graduates of the College of Pharmacy of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences are members. (No dues are required at this time.)  

Alumni are encouraged to:

  • Serve as a class agent for your class
  • Serve as a contact/liaison for the college
  • Create a network of alumni to help with volunteer activities
  • Serve as a preceptor, including on international travel
  • Serve as a student mentor
  • Speak at High School career days
  • Provide shadowing experiences for students
  • Provide CPE assistance
  • Provide sites for student screenings
  
Dynamed is an authoritative, widely
used clinical resource (point of care summary tool)
that is provided by the UAMS Library and
the AHEC Central Office at no cost to licensed or
certified health care professionals in Arkansas.
