First Class Grad Revisits College
Class of 1957 graduate Marilyn Henderson stands proudly in front of her graduation composite where she is pictured right. Ms. Henderson was among the first graduates of the University of Arkansas School of Nursing, now known as UAMS College of Nursing. She revisited the campus in late August for a fun lunch with Dean Lorraine Frazier, CON Coordinator of Recruitment Osmonetta Beard, who heads up alumni relations for the College, and Brenda Scisson, Executive Director for Development.
Following lunch, Ms. Henderson did an on-camera interview for the College’s website. Osmonetta ended the visit by providing Ms. Henderson a tour of the campus. When asked what advice she would give her younger self, she smiled and said “Just enjoy the ride”! Ms. Henderson will be featured in our upcoming College of Nursing magazine.
