UAMS Friends and Alumni

Travel Program

"The cruise Jim and I took on the Oceana line this past summer through UAMS College of Medicine Alumni Association is at the top of our list of several cruises on several lines. Everything was first rate: our room was lovely, comfortable in size with a veranda and bath with a normal sized shower.
They took beautiful care of our room with service timed when we were not there. The food was excellent and there were three gourmet restaurants – Chinese, French and American Polo -- with a guaranteed reservation at each for no additional charge. They all could stand on their own as Michelin starred restaurants.
The South of Spain ports of call were interesting and allowed trips to interior destinations such as Alhambra and Granada, Seville, and Casablanca in North Africa. I recommend making private reservations on the internet in the larger ports and using the ship’s tours in the smaller ports.
Entertainment onboard was great – we loved the shows. "
